NEET 2018 Exam:
NEET 2018 is a National level medical entrance examination which is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Examination). This is mainly conducted for the student to get admission to the MBBS and BDS seats in India.

NEET 2018 Exam Date:
The expected dates for CBSE NEET 2018 is out now. The exam will be held on 10th May 2018 and the application form will be available from December 2017.

Admission Date:
According to the report, MCI(Media Council of India) will complete the admission process for the medical and dental courses by 18th August 2018.The MCI officials said that the admissions based on NEET results will begin in deemed universities from 10th July 2018 & the results are announced in the First week of June.

NEET admit cards issued on 22nd April 2017.

Putting an end to anxiety among medical aspirants across the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has said students can avail their admit cards on April 22 for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET).

“In view of the orders of the Supreme Court to accept the applications of candidates beyond 25 years of age, admit cards will now be available on April 22. The results of NEET will be applicable for admissions to medical and dental seats across the country and other health science courses in Maharashtra.

These admit cards were to be released by April 15 and since the board maintained silence about the delay, students as well as parents got worried.

NEET 2017 will be held across 103 cities across the country, including 11 in Maharashtra itself, on May 7.

Instructions to fill NEET 2017 Application Form

Candidates before filling the application form must read the following instructions for the application process of NEET 2017. In order to fill the application form successfully and without delay, candidates must make the following preparations:

Required information to fill NEET form

  • The candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling the Application Form.

  • Candidates should verify that the details mentioned such as their name, name of their father/ mother, date of birth, correct address, mobile number and e-mail id in the NEET 2017 Application form should correctly match with the particulars in the identification documents.

  • All the applicants are responsible for providing correct information such as postal address, contact details, email id and mobile number. The Board will not be responsible for any incorrect address or contact details in the application form.

  • One candidate can send only one application form. If done otherwise, the candidate’s candidature is liable to be cancelled. Also, incomplete application forms will be summarily rejected.

Photographs and Signature requirements

  • Candidates must scan their latest passport size photograph (size of 10 Kb to 100 Kb). The photograph must have a white background clearly indicating the name of the candidate along with the date of taking the photograph.

  • Signature (size of 10 Kb to 100 Kb) and Right Hand Index finger impression (size of 3 Kb to 20 Kb) in JPG format only.

  • At the examination center during NEET 2017 Examination, the Centre Superintendent will collect the candidate’s post card size (4”x6”) photograph affixed on Performa. It is important that the photo has been taken on or after 01.01.2017, clearly indicating the name of candidate along with the date of taking the photograph.
  • On the reverse side of the photograph, candidate must mention their name, Application Form number, roll number of examination.

  • Candidates must bring additional copies of passport size photographs, clearly indicating the name of candidate along with the date of taking the photograph.

  • Photograph should not have cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. Applications without clear photographs are liable to be rejected.

  • For Signature, candidates have to upload their signature in the appropriate box given in the online Application Form in running hand writing. Writing full name in the Box in Capital letters would not be accepted as signature. Doing so can lead to cancellation of the application form.

How to Apply for NEET 2017

 

In order to complete the NEET Application Form, candidates must follow the steps given below:

New Registration

  1. Visit the official website.
  2. On the left hand side of home page, applicants will see options like, ‘Apply Online’, ‘Candidate Login’ and ‘Forgot Registration Number’
  3. Applicants should click on ‘Candidate Login’,
  1. In case the applicant has forgotten their password, they need to click on ‘Forgot Password’ on the candidate log-in page. The necessary details should to be filled out to recover the password.
  1. If the candidate has forgotten their registration number, they should click on ‘Forgot Registration Number’ on the official website and fill out the necessary details.
  1. If the candidate is a new user or is registering for the first time, they will click on ‘Apply Online’ on the official web site.
  1. A new page will open which would list important instructions for the application form. At the bottom of the page, the candidates will see a button flashing, ‘Proceed to apply Online NEET 2017’. Applicants should click on this button.
  1. A new page will open which would have the instructions related to filling the application form. Candidates have to click on ‘I agree’ and ‘Submit’ to proceed further.
  1. Candidates will fill the required information and click on ‘Submit’ if they are satisfied with their entry or will click on ‘Reset’ to make changes.
  1. The candidate will successfully register and will be required to log-in on their candidate profile to start filling the application form.
  2. After the filling the details, click on ‘Next’ to proceed or can click on ‘Reset’ if they are not satisfied with the information or want to make any changes.
  3. Once the applicant clicks ‘Next’, they will be taken to the next step of uploading the documents.
  4. Candidates have to upload their passport size photograph, signature and Right Hand Index Finger Impression.
  5. The candidate should ensure that the documents are as per the instructions and are uploaded in their provided space. After this the programme will automatically take the candidate to next step of application process.
  6. Candidates will make the payment of application fees by choosing the payment mode most appropriate for them.
  1. After the payment of application fees, candidates will be redirected to the last step where they will print the confirmation page. This confirmation page must be kept by the candidate as a proof of fees payment and future references.

  2. Printing the confirmation page means that the application has been submitted. If the candidate cannot see the confirmation page, it means that they have skipped one of the steps.

NEET 2017 Important Dates To Remember!

Good News for NEET 2017 Students!!! Finally the await is over!!

NEET 2017 will be conducted on May 07, 2017. NEET Application Form has to be filled online and submitted by March 01, 2017. The application fee of Rs. 1400 for General Category and Rs. 750 for SC/ST/PH needs to be remitted.

The exam will be conducted in offline mode at 80 NEET Exam Centres across India. NEET Exam includes a total of 180 objective type questions. There are 4 sections which are Physics, Chemistry and Biology with an equal number of questions in each section. The duration of the NEET Exam is 3 hours. Negative marking is also applicable in the exam.

What is new in NEET 2017?

In a preferably significant decision, Supreme court has re-introduced NEET as a single tier entrance exam from 2016 and replaced AIPMT as well as other State and University level medical entrance tests for admission to MBBS and BDS program to bring transparency and spare students the stress of appearing in multiple medical entrance exams. DGHS, Government of India manages 15% All India Quota seats and the remaining 85% seats are distributed among all the states.
